| HIKVISION DS-8000AI/ALI series network disk video recorder is an excellent digital product special for ATM/POS surveillance. It uses the most advanced technology in information industry such as video/audio encoding/decoding , hard disk record and TCP/IP . It has both features of digital video/audio recorder(DVR) and digital video/audio server(DVS) . It can work stand-alone or be used to build a powerful surveillance network.
DS-800AI/ALI series have the function to compress the video signal and audio signal simultaneously into H.264 hardware compression standard; to transmit the compression bit rate through network; to real-time video and audio preview; bi-directional voice communication and support multilingual etc.
Compression Functions:
1. Every video input channel can be real-time hardware compressed independently with 25F/S(PAL) or 30F/S(NTSC). Video is compressed using H.264 standard, and it supports not only variable bit rate but also variable frame rate. When choosing video image quality, you can also limit the bit rate of the compression code.
2. Support resolution:PAL:4CIF (704*576), DCIF(528*384),2CIF(704*288), CIF（352*288）, QCIF（176*144）;NTSC: 4CIF (704*480), DCIF(528*320), 2CIF(704*240), CIF（352*240）, QCIF（176*120）;
3. Every audio input channel can be compressed independently , using OggVorbis standard . The output bitrate is 16 kbps.
4. The output video and audio stream can be complexed to generate the mixed H.264 stream . Video and audio coincide with each other from beginning to end when mixed stream is played back . Only Video stream is also available.
